The estate is near Panormo. The small village of Panormo (in Greek Πάνορμος) is conveniently located on the north coast of Crete. Around 600 inhabitants live here permanently, and almost as many holidaymakers come here during the season. Panormo has a long history dating back to the Minoan times. At that time, it was the harbour of the Minoan settlement of Eleutherna, which was located about 17 km south and still invites exploration today. In the meantime, Panormo, with its two beaches, has become a popular holiday resort. There are numerous small hotels and apartment buildings here. The newer and larger hotel complexes, on the other hand, are located a little further out.

Although tourism in Crete has changed a lot in recent years, the place has retained its original charm with its original village centre. In the centre of the village there are numerous cafes, bars and restaurants and taverns that invite you to linger. The charm of the old buildings from the early 20th century characterise the charm of Panormo.
