Medical care is provided by the General Hospital of Chania (approx. 15 km away). Chania International Airport (CHQ) is only approx. 9 km away and can therefore be easily reached in 15 minutes. The ferry port of Souda, with connections to Piraeus and other islands, is around 17 km away.
