Connections to services such as electricity, water and telephone with broadband internet are available right next to the plot.

From its elevated position on the slope of a hill, the property enjoys breathtaking panoramic views of the sea, the mountains and the area of Agia Pelagia and represents an excellent investment as it is the only plot in the entire region that offers all the advantages and building possibilities for residential use (villas, houses) or commercial use (tourist development).

Location

The former traditional fishing village of Agia Pelagia is now a well-known holiday resort. The narrow beach, located in a sheltered bay, is covered with sun loungers and is popular with jet skiers and divers. Near the shore are beach bars and fish restaurants, as well as souvenir shops selling handicrafts. Further inland stands the whitewashed Ekklisia Agia Pelagia, a former monastery dating back to the Venetian rule. Heraklion is 25 km away, only half an hour by car. The lively capital of Crete with its Venetian harbour and historic old town is the cradle of Europe's first advanced civilisation and the modern centre of Crete. The main attractions are the old town and the beautiful Venetian harbour. In Greek mythology, this harbour was the place where Heracles (better known as Hercules) came ashore to capture the Cretan bull. Typical of Crete, the townscape has been influenced by various cultures: after the Greeks came the Arabs, then the Byzantines and finally the Venetians. During this period, Heraklion was called Chándax or Candia. Afterwards, the Turks ruled, under whom the city was called Megalo Kastro. Unfortunately, the port city was repeatedly occupied, which also brought destruction, most recently through the bombing by the German Wehrmacht in World War II. The once large number of sights has thus been greatly reduced over time, but Heraklion still has a few relics from the Venetian era, such as the Lion Fountain and the Loggia.

Today, Heraklion is the economic, cultural and political centre of Crete. The university is based here, as are various domestic and European authorities. With approximately 175,000 inhabitants, Heraklion is the fourth largest city in Greece and home to the island's largest seaport.
