On the first floor, there are two light and airy bedrooms and a smaller room that can be used as a third bedroom if necessary. The master bedroom has a built-in double bed made of stone and a second bedroom with 2 built-in single beds. From the second bedroom you can access a balcony and a roof terrace, which is covered by a pergola with pretty vines. Both have fantastic views of the village, the mountains and down to the sea. Pefki is a traditional Cretan village just a quarter of an hour's drive from the nearest beach (Lagoufa Beach). There are three taverns here, one of which is run by a German landlord. Places of interest in the area include the Apoloustres Cave, the Vreiko Cave, and the church of Ekklisia Stavromenos, which is the destination of a pretty little hike. The Pefki Gorge hiking area is also nearby. A 15-minute drive will take you to the resort of Analipsis, where there are supermarkets, shopping opportunities and a few beaches.
