Two equally sized building plots (A & B) located directly by the sea in a beautiful location on the slopes of the coastal hills northeast of Plaka, Elounda, with unobstructed views of the sea, the island of Spinalonga and breathtaking sunrises and moonrises.

Each of the two plots has a building permit for one or more houses of up to 295 m2, which can be built on one or two floors plus basement and attic. Both plots would still have ample space for swimming pools, open and covered verandas and terraces, garden areas, parking spaces, etc.

Electricity and water connections as well as telephone lines with broadband internet are not far from the plots and easy to connect.

An unpaved road leads to the coastal village of Plaka. Plaka and the nearest beach are approximately 2.5 km from the properties. The elite tourist resort of Elounda is approximately 7 km away. The provincial capital, Agios Nikolaos, is approximately 20 minutes away by car. Heraklion International Airport is approximately one hour away by car.

Plaka is an old fishing village that is now a popular tourist destination. Opposite Plaka lies the historic island of Spinalonga with its old Venetian fortress, a UNESCO-protected monument. There are many restaurants and shops in the coastal village. The white pebble beach has crystal clear water and is considered the best in the Elounda area.

Elounda was a small fishing village on Mirabello Bay on the island of Crete. Although fishing still plays an important role in this very picturesque area, tourism has become Elounda's main industry. The village belongs to the municipality of Agios Nikolaos. It is very popular with European tourists and has numerous hotels, including several 5-star hotels. Elounda is also the closest major town to the former leper colony of Spinalonga. The town is only a 10-minute drive from Agios Nikolaos and the village of Plaka (Lasithi). Agios Nikolaos is the capital of the Lasithi district and is located on Mirabello Bay in the north-east of Crete, only 40 minutes from Heraklion International Airport.
