The double bedroom has its own large balcony with stunning views over the olive groves to the Gulf of Chania and the Rodopos Peninsula. The landing leads to another large balcony from which you can enjoy the same view. The building has oil-fired central heating throughout. At the rear of the mill is a pergola covered with vines, ideal for al fresco dining, with a barbecue and an area for preparing food. A stone staircase leads down to a large garden with a well-kept lawn, mature trees and flowers, and an automatic irrigation system. Another stone staircase leads from the garden down to a 9.5 x 5 m swimming pool set in a large tiled terrace with a small paddling area for toddlers. The garden and pool offer beautiful views of the countryside and the sea.

Location

Kolymvari is a welcoming small town at the foot of the Rodopou peninsula, offering all necessary amenities such as banks, a post office, supermarkets and shops. The beautiful beach promenade is lined with taverns, cafés and bars, which are open from morning until late at night. The hinterland of Kolymvari consists of countless olive groves and vineyards. Small hills with cypresses, plane trees, fig trees and, here and there, Cretan oak trees. Cultural highlights of Maleme and the surrounding area: the Polirrinia monastery near Kissamos, the Agia Triada monastery on the Akrotiri peninsula. A visit to the oldest olive tree in the mountain village of Vouves is also worth a trip.
