The lake and its tranquil surroundings are ideal for walks and water sports such as paddle boarding.

Just 4 kilometres away are the popular sandy beaches of Georgioupolis, which, with their clear waters and relaxed atmosphere, are a favourite destination for beach lovers. Other beaches, such as those in Almyrida or Kavros, are within easy reach by car and offer excellent opportunities for swimming and surfing.

In the immediate vicinity of the house, you will find traditional tavernas serving regional specialities such as fresh fish, homemade olive oils and local wines. Shops for daily needs are within walking distance, making living here particularly convenient. Active holidaymakers can take advantage of the picturesque region for hiking, jogging or cycling. The historically significant cities of Chania and Rethymno, with their Venetian architecture, are about 30 minutes away by car and invite you to take cultural excursions.
