Agios Nikolaos, the provincial capital of Lasithi, is about a 25-minute drive from the property and offers all the amenities you would expect in a large, modern tourist town.

Ierapetra, the second largest town in the province, is located on the south coast of Crete and is about a 15-minute drive from the property. Heraklion International Airport is about a 70-minute drive away.

Kavousi is a tranquil village in beautiful Agios Nikolaos on Crete. Kavousi is a historic village in Ierapetra, Lasithi, in eastern Crete. "Kavousi" means "water source" in the Cretan dialect. Numerous archaeological sites have been discovered in the area around Kavousi, including Vronda, Kastro, Azoria, Chrysokamino and the island of Pseira. It is the oldest village in Crete with permanent and uninterrupted settlement since 4,700 BC, as evidenced by archaeological data and its 120 archaeological sites. Kavousi is located just 3.6 km (2.2 miles) south of Tholos Beach. The village offers a great view of the Gulf of Mirabello and the Isthmus of Ierapetra.
